From the start, Schoolyard was about a diverse cast of heroes. It was always about having new idenities that could be of value to the many cultures of the human race. It was never the intent to select one type of person to create from. It was always about victories from many angles. The difference with Schoolyard is the mission would be accomplished. Even if you never hear about it. That's the beauty about this journey. Twenty-two years and counting. From Miss Soapbox to The MoonMen, creating different worlds, ideals, and cultures. And within these stories I seek victory. So that the intended reader can be inspired in some way. That makes success and failure null and void. It makes insipration and reflection fill the spaces.

So what does victory means to Schoolyard? Odd. Unique. Looking to make stories that don't fit your typical roles. An african princess that roam the vast kingdoms of the old continent. A native american with the powers of soap and shampoo. Something in that flavor. And it all started with a black female cop with a vision to see the dark side. Schoolyard was about finding a home for these things. Many years and the house is built. It's still a long road, but the value is worth it. And that's what SYBC is truly about. So diversity will always be the bloodline of what's done here. Schoolyard will always celebrate the black hero and the people of many colors. Black Always. Black Forever.

I know that in these trying times, the mainstream world come around to embrace diversity. And that is a great thing for those whom embrace it. For Schoolyard, it's been the bedrock of the company. This is where victory comes into place. It's one thing to be a diversive ideal. It's another thing to truly make it a focus of pure joy. You can make a story that may just represent. For SYBC it's about a story that endure treasures. Not something that just simply blend into the zeitgeist. Which is something I wouldn't be a part of anyway. Taking the road, not only less traveled. The road that never became a path. Nothing trailblazing. Just the world in which human nature don't reside. This is outsider magic.

That outside element is what makes us think about the goal of good outcomes. Energy that binds overcoming the fog before you. Paving a interest. Working as everlasting as possible. In order for the target puropse, satisfying a curious mind. Making someone feel proud to come from something other than the status quo. Cause even in diversity, there is still the soul of the status format. Schoolyard shatters that. Not for the conquest of impactful discourse. Because that's the soul of what it is. None of what is being a new discovery, has ever changed for SYBC. And I want the reader, and the fellow creative to understand that. These many colors bleed like the format of printing pictures. Just as colorful as Schoolyard will always be.

That's the guarantee. Schoolyard will always celebrate the victory of many faces. It is meant to be important, and impactful to at least one person out there. I will continue to make sure that Schoolyard will seek the inspiration from many subjects the world over. In order to create uplifting influences. To make sure and add a piece of good to the timestamp of the journey. So no one individual is left out, or left behind.
