Year 23. Another Schoolyard journey continues. From 1998 to now, Schoolyard has been working to create a system that works for it's products. Just like anything in life, there are challenges. Sometimes it doesn't click right away. Sometimes the heart could be lost. There are many hodge podge of things that make success and failure. But one thing is clear. There will always be success and failure. No matter how lucky the road gets. Bumps on a smooth street.


For Schoolyard, just like anything, there has been a bit of both. Yet, in the balance of these two forces, it's meant to enjoy the walk in the park. It's still a thing that can get a bit cloudy. Meaning you lose focus on just enjoying the ride. Instead of getting to the goal faster. Then there is the other balance where you do have to get to the goal. These have to be the experiences in this life. Do we sit back and reflect on what was. Yeah. Because what was, has shaped Schoolyard's current future.


And that current future looks great. New building blocks have grown SYBC into a larger thing. That will continue to bring growth. Priority means everything. Of course, a dollar value has it's place. Yet what means more, is the value of the creative spirit. In the mist of all that is margins, creative mindset is the key. Without it, you can work without a soul. You need a soul for the creative spirit to live. In these days, something mixed (profit motive and creativity) could look like there is a soul there. However, that's more like a robotic take on what the soul looks within.


That's where the balance will always have a front seat. The art of success and failure. They both teach lessons. You need both to learn it all. In year 23, there is nothing more but these two forces. So as Schoolyard is quietly celebrated, the ups and downs mean everything. That's the take from understanding the many years Schoolyard has pressed on. Times have changed, yet Schoolyard will continue to evolve. The push and pull that moves you forward will make that decision for you.
