Schoolyard Digital And Community Building a new type of power dynamic.
Good Evening! Welcome to the Schoolyard Aumtun Keynote of 2025. I just discussed
about how Schoolyard is approaching Artificial Intelligence. Now it's time to talk about another dynamic of the future. We are
heading into interesting times. So the thought of community and the dynamic of powernomics will be presented in this keynote, as
moving towards a different kind of distribution system for a different changing world.
Building community, and the "economy of sharing" is another added weapon for Schoolyard.
"People power" will play an important role into the next step in the future of Schoolyard's community roles. The first point is SYBC
Iron. This will be the main sector for Schoolyard community activity. This will start the building blocks to apply Schoolyard projects,
and future products. Creating a infastructure that will web through more local, immediate environments.
This will definitely be a thing to counteract against the standardizing of the AI movement in
it's own way.
Because we will begin collaborating in a more unique way than before. Rethinking about local, and
about approaching shared interest style developments. Meaning that utilizing the ways talent can still bring resistance, and value to the creative
process. Instead of just grabbing a bunch of "pieces" together, Schoolyard will collectively aquire specific parts as one puzzle to solve.
So that means to redefine the digital movement. Digital and community must find a nice middle ground.
I know digital is being used in a way to "carrot" the consumer, into a social contract where they are at the losing end. Here for Schoolyard, that
can't be the be all for digital. The push to create a community digital distribution, has always, and always will continue to be platform for Schoolyard.
And the future of Schoolyard will include "people power" in it's arsenal.
Now I introduce to you, Schoolyard Iron. This is a section of the main site where community is the focus.
For digital and/or physical, Schoolyard Iron will move with unique projects that maximizes the purpose of community. For now, the early projects are the
seed. As time moves on, the garden continues to bloom. Within that bloom, it will generate something that will align with the way things can change for us
all. I will keep that at wraps for the time being.
Schoolyard Iron starts a new era for Schoolyard, and the interaction of story, and journey.
